Holzbaupreis Berlin Brandenburg 2025 | Special Mention – Category New Construction

Our project Kokoni One | Timber Construction Quarter at the Orchard, Berlin received a Special Mention in the category New Construction at the Holzbaupreis Berlin-Brandenburg (Timber Construction Award). The compact neighborhood around an orchard consists of 84 row houses built in circular timber construction and features an energy concept for the entire area.

A total of 76 projects were submitted for the award, which is organized by the Landesbeirat Holz Berlin-Brandenburg. The award honors buildings that combine sustainability, innovation, and architectural quality at the highest level, enriching the region’s building culture. The competition aims to highlight the diversity and innovative power of timber construction and to recognize those who create future-oriented solutions using this renewable building material.
