German Solar Prize 2025 | Honourable Mention

At the German Solar Award 2025, our project Kokoni One | Timber Construction Quarter at the Orchard, Berlin received a plaque as an honourable mention for its outstanding architectural and technical achievements in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The new residential quarter in Berlin-Pankow consists of timber buildings in energy efficiency class A with 84 residential units. The energy concept was designed as a district-wide solution: the quarter has a final energy demand of 542 MWh per year and a primary energy demand of 344 MWh per year.
