BAUFACHFRAU BERLIN E.V. VISITS ZRS LABORATORY

On 22 April 2026, a group of participants from the QLab (Qualification Lab for Women*) at BAUFACHFRAU Berlin e.V. visited the ZRS laboratory. Gloria Hohmann, materials testing specialist and earthen construction expert at ZRS Ingenieure, guided the group through our Earth Lab, offering insights into the properties and applications of this natural building material. Earth naturally regulates indoor climate and moisture, is fully recyclable, and is experiencing a growing renaissance in contemporary sustainable construction.

The Berlin-based non-profit organisation has been championing the advancement of women* in the construction sector for decades. Through its QLab programme, it offers hands-on qualification courses covering future-relevant topics, including sustainable building. The QLab is specifically designed for women* who want to develop their professional expertise and play an active role in shaping the ecological transformation of the construction industry.

We are delighted to have an ongoing collaboration with BAUFACHFRAU Berlin and look forward to continuing it.
