8th October 2025 | Symposium “Nachhaltiges Bauen – zirkulär und mit Holz”
The 10th edition of the symposium “Sustainable Building” focuses on two key aspects of resource-efficient construction: the circular economy and the use of wood as a sustainable building material. In addition to a keynote by Eike Roswag-Klinge, Andrea Klinge will give a presentation on resource-efficient building with natural materials. Sina Jansen from the NBL at TU Berlin will present our joint project — the Living Lab Museum Pavilion on the TU Berlin campus. In the morning, the State of Berlin will publicly present, for the first time, its comprehensive report on the reuse of building components. The presentation will be complemented by practical case studies and a panel discussion.
The event series is organized by the Berlin Senate Department for Urban Mobility, Transport, Climate Action and the Environment, the Architektenkammer Berlin, and the Landesbeirat Holz Berlin Brandenburg.
