Publication: Sustainable Architecture & Design 2025 / 2026

The book “Sustainable Architecture & Design 2025/2026” brings together 60 current projects, carefully chosen as particularly fine examples of environmentally friendly construction. With this yearbook, the editors aim to present forward-looking solutions on relevant topics of a sustainable transformation of the built environment (such as the utilisation of resources, circular processes, biodiversity and much more). One of the chosen examples is our project EDEKA Zukunftsmarkt.

Commissioned by EDEKA to design an innovative and environmentally sustainable local supply centre in timber construction in Nauen, Brandenburg, ZRS Architekten Ingenieure developed and realised the building as a prototype, intended to test approaches for future buildings.

The book has been published as a German-English version by av edition.
