Eike Roswag-Klinge is the new President of the Architektenkammer Berlin

On June 5, the 12th Representative Assembly (“Vertreter*innenversammlung”) of the Architektenkammer Berlin elected its new seven-member board. The new president is Eike Roswag-Klinge. Together with the vice presidents Marina Kuck and Wiebke Ahues, he emphasized his commitment to consistently advocate for the transformation of the building sector and the sustainability of the profession and society. “The transformation of the building sector is a complex process that will accompany us for many years to come, continually presenting new challenges in both research and practice, and prompting us to engage in critical reflection. The years ahead will fundamentally change not only the way we build, but also the profession itself.” He emphasizes that empowering young professionals – and providing them with quality education and training – is more important than ever. “I am excited to work with a reform-minded chamber to open the door to the future a little further.”

In spring 2025, nearly 10,500 members of the Berlin Chamber of Architects elected their Representative Assembly. On May 5, the election results and the allocation of the 41 seats by group and specialization were confirmed. A total of 19 different groups ran in the election. The most votes went to the employed architects from Architects for Future, followed by the freelance architects from the BDA.
