30.9 – 2.10.2025 | Seminar Series on Building with Earth

At the end of the month, the Weiterbildungsakademie of the Bauhaus University Weimar will host a seminar series on the topic of building with earth. In the seminars, Christof Ziegert will share his expertise on various earth building materials, insulation materials made with earth, and earth render. He will also cover construction methods using rammed earth, as well as the renovation and modernization of historic earthen buildings, for example in the context of heritage conservation.

The seminar series consists of three parts, which can be booked individually or as a package:

• Building with earth for Architects and Engineers
• Historic Solid Earth Construction – Structure, Damage, Renovation, Modernization
• Building with earth in an International Context
