The new building of the German Embassy in Tbilisi/Georgia is constructed as a rammed earth building. The decision for the execution of this type of construction is based among other things on an expert report of the ZRS-Ingenieure GmbH from the year 2016. At the beginning of 2019 the project was approved by the federal government. The approval and execution planning, which has been suspended since 2016, is now being resumed in planning terms and execution is expected to begin in 2021. ZRS engineers accompany the entire planning and construction process of the rammed earth components as technical advisors and experts in earth construction.
