The upcoming exhibition wertschau opens at the auau Raum für Architektur in Hamburg on Thursday 6 November 2025. The exhibition is the result of a close cooperation between K+E, NBL and ZRS, focused on research as well as the collected knowledge of many years of practice experience working with building inside the planetary limits – a mission binding K+E, NBL and ZRS together.

wertschau demonstrates how novel qualities arise from the act of caring about the existing material. Likewise, the exhibition illustrates the contemplation behind a practice based not on the mere utilization of resources, but rather on protecting, caring for and rethinking the resources already present. In the projects on show, the emphasis is similarly not on universal solutions, nor the search for some grand idea, but instead the focus is centered on the actual buildings as well as the people who populate them and their histories. Therefore, all guests are here invited to experience for themselves the true value of the existing materials in a visual, tangible and considerate way.
